GEOSIGHT was established in 2016 and has evolved to become a small team of professional geospatial surveyors who provide clients with precise and accurate dimension data of both the built and natural environments using modern, cutting-edge equipment and techniques.

Brian Gamet

Brian who holds a lifelong passion for the production of maps and charts and the science behind them is the founding director of GEOSIGHT. Brian holds a Master's degree in Hydrography from Plymouth University recognised to IHO Category A level, and is fully accredited by the RICS as a Chartered Land and Hydrographic Surveyor having practised professionally both disciplines for over 15 years. Brian is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority and retains an associate lecturing post with MLA College, an academic partner of Plymouth University, as a lecturer in both land and hydrographic survey.

Brian has specialisms and principal interests in cadastral (boundary) surveying and acting as a Chartered surveyor to help resolve boundary dispute situations. Brian is a also a specialist in the area of precise dimension control, including that of offshore survey vessels and in practising new methods in laser scanning and photogrammetry to increase accuracy and efficiency within this area.

Kirsten Gamet

Kirsten looks after the accounts and business development for GEOSIGHT in between her commitments to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon where she practices as a Snr Physiotherapist specialising in cardiothoracic’s, and also being a dedicated mum to her and Brian’s two sons Jake and Joshua. Kirsten has many hidden assets which she brings to GEOSIGHT including a PG Diploma in Innovation and Strategy from Oxford University, and 6 years working in a start-up company specialising in health care informatics.

Matt Deacon

Matt provides a wealth of experience in the marine and civil engineering construction industries. He holds a degree in Ship Science at Southampton University, providing core naval architecture and marine engineering knowledge and is a full member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering surveyors. Matt specialises in precision engineering surveying work, during both construction and monitoring phases, along with topographic and measured building surveys. He has worked on numerous construction projects along the south coast of the UK and takes great pride in providing the most accurate, reliable and repeatable measurements achievable.
