Heinrich and Palmer Release Initial Images of Mottisfont House

A first look at how Heinrich and Palmer will be utilising the point cloud created by GEOSIGHT at Mottisfont House for their new installation in January 2020.

Point Cloud Data Use

Heinrich and Palmer are now producing their initial views of Mottisfont House in preparation of the new ‘Casting Light’ commission they are working on to be situated in the Red Room in January 2020.

GEOSIGHT completed 3D scans of the entire National Trust property and provided Heinrich and Palmer with a monster point cloud to enable ‘Casting Light’ to go ahead. Commissioned by the National Trust, Mottisfont, the upcoming installation is in keeping with the ongoing programme of exhibitions, commissions and installations at the property.

The installation will explore both the historic and architectural layers of this complex site, taking animated journeys through GEOSIGHT’s captured point cloud.
