GEOSIGHT is a Hampshire (UK) based multi-disciplinary geospatial survey company, regulated by the RICS and a member of the UK Survey Association. Due to continued growth we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Vessel Dimension Control Surveyor to be based from our Hampshire office.
Primarily we are looking for a candidate who has a strong background knowledge and experience of carrying out precise Dimension Control Surveys, alongside interest and experience in conducting hydrographic surveys, topographic surveys and measured building surveys. The ideal candidate will show desire to build upon their experience and skill set in a developing company who will support them in their own continued professional growth.
In order to fulfil the position of Dimension Control Manager, the candidate will need to be confident to lead on all Dimension Control Surveys which include; full vessel Calibration and Verification Surveys, including Gyro Calibration; Vessel Motion Sensor Calibration and Verification Surveys; and GNSS Position Verification and Health Checks in order to support our international client base.
The candidate will have a willingness to travel away from home for short periods of time, be fluent with operating modern total stations and have a keen attitude in developing their skill sets to accompany GEOSIGHT’s variety of survey disciplines. Furthermore, the candidate will need to display attributes of seniority, experience, leadership and management capability in order to work successfully and efficiently in high pressure environments.
