GEOSIGHT were delighted to be able to undertake this unique and demanding project for U+I Group Plc.
Our instruction was to determine the gross internal area of each individual shop, stall and arch occupying open space and internal areas under the railway arches for the Hammersmith and City Tube line, a total of 175 units which needed to be calculated and drawn.
The site threw up its challenges, with the work unable to be completed by total station or regular scanning equipment due to the sheer quantity of people flowing through the market and the restrictive time constraints.
